Veda SIRAS (Veda Siksha Rakshana Abhivrudhdhi Samaajam) was founded two years ago on 15-08-2018, provides a platform for spiritual awakening for those who are interested to learn Vedas and to associate themselves with the activities related to our Sanathana Dharma.
This spiritual group was founded and nourished by Guruji Shri U. Ve. Melma L.Venugopalan swami , a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant, who had his Veda Adhyayanam initially under the tutelage of his father (Late Shri.U.Ve. Melma Lakshmi Narasimhachariar, who himself was a great Sanskrit scholar and teacher) and further from two other Gurus BrahmaSri. Vengalathur Subramanya Sastrigal and Sri.U.Ve. Ishti. Venkatakrishnamachari Swami.
Guruji Shri U.Ve. Venugopalan is ably supported by another Guruji Shri Ganapathi Krishnan in this endeavour. Currently there are about 60 members who are engaged in the learning of Yajur vedam and these Vidyarthees are in the age group of 10 to 90 years.
